About Second Home Apartments

Business idea

A home from home

At Second Home Apartments we offer a wide variety of modern and spacious apartments for guests looking for the perfect “home from home”. Since we opened our first long stay hotel more than 10 years ago we have gained considerable experience in serving our guests – and with around 40,000 guest nights per year we are positioned as an important player in the market.

Your needs come first

All guests are of equal importance to us – whether long stays or short visits, leisure holidays or travelling on business.

We understand that travel is changing. That’s why we want to offer homes and services that match your needs, as cost effectively as possible. Here, you can choose apartments depending on the demands you have regarding space, time and parking options. You have the option to stock your fridge and make a home-cooked meal or go for a bite to eat around the corner.

We want to hear your opinions

We constantly strive to improve our services and have high ambitions to grow: our vision is for Second Home Apartments to exist in more places around Stockholm. That’s why we want to know what you think about our concept and our hotels. Please get in touch – your opinions are priceless.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Sustainable thinking

Second Home Apartments was founded in 2007 with the ambition to rent out modern, clean apartments and studios for long and short stays. In addition to the apartment hotels in Solna, the company also owns a B&B in Antibes, south of France. A third apartment hotel is under construction in the south of Stockholm.

Our green credentials

Our company prioritises sustainability, development and adaptation to our customers’ needs.

The property owner has engineered a property built for the future, installing charging points for electric cars. We have solar power systems on our roof with more than 100 solar panels. The goal is to create a sustainable future. Due to our work for the planet, the Environmental Protection Agency has granted us financial investment within the “Klimatklivet” climate initiative. This is granted to encourage and award local and regional actions to minimise carbon emissions and other gases impacting climate change.

Praised for our care

Cultural history is another area we’re involved in. Our work gained accolades back in 2016 when the borough of Solna named us for a local council award. Part of the jury’s motivation was that “…a historically valuable building has been carefully restored and made accessible to the public, with purpose that makes our community thrive”. We are happy and proud of the award to this day and continue to care for our buildings.

Restaurant

Fusion in the restaurant

Set within our hotel in Solna, chef Petter Danielsson runs a fusion kitchen at his restaurant, Asplund. Discover dishes inspired by Asia, Italy and Sweden – a vibrant combination with lots of greenery. Clean, simple and challenging. And delicious breakfasts, of course.
